A Joyful Celebration: Krupa & Ben’s Baby Shower at Saltwater Coastal Grill, Rosemont, IL


There are few things more special than capturing the excitement and love that surrounds first-time parents—and Krupa and Ben’s baby shower was exactly that kind of celebration. Held at the beautiful Saltwater Coastal Grill in Rosemont, IL, their shower was the perfect blend of coastal charm, heartfelt emotion, and picture-perfect moments.


As a Chicago-based event photographer, I get to document so many different milestones, but baby showers always hold a soft spot in my heart—especially when they’re filled with this much joy, love, and attention to detail.


The Venue: Saltwater Coastal Grill in Rosemont, IL


If you haven’t visited Saltwater Coastal Grill, it’s a hidden gem in the Rosemont area. The space feels airy and inviting, with a modern coastal vibe that was ideal for Krupa and Ben’s shower. The private event room was filled with natural light, soft neutral decor, and the perfect layout for guests to mingle comfortably.


The elegant ocean-inspired details of the restaurant paired so well with the soft blues and creams of the shower’s décor. It was like the theme and the venue were made for each other!


A Shower Full of Love (and Laughter)


From the moment Krupa and Ben walked in, it was clear how much they were  loved. Their friends and family showed up in full force—bringing heartfelt gifts, playful games, and genuine excitement for the couple’s new journey into parenthood.


There were so many sweet little details:

  • A “Guess the Baby Food” game that had everyone laughing
  • Personalized décor touches that reflected Krupa and Ben’s style
  • Plenty of beautiful candid moments as guests hugged, laughed, and shared advice


Krupa looked absolutely radiant in her soft blush dress, and Ben’s warm, quiet joy made the whole event feel grounded and intimate. These are the moments I love to freeze in time—the in-between glances, the hands resting on baby bump, the proud smiles from future grandparents.
